Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a ticket to any online or in person workshop or course led by Sèverine Howell-Meri, you agree to the following:

Private Access Only

The ticket / zoom link you receive is for your use only. Please do not share, forward, or post it publicly. This is a closed, paid session and sharing access is not permitted.

Intellectual Property

All materials shown during the workshop — including treatments, decks, pitch examples, and images — are the sole intellectual property of Sèverine Howell-Meri. You may not record, reproduce, distribute, or repurpose any part of the presentation or materials without written consent. Doing so will result in a license and usage fee. BTS footage is permitted and @shotbyseverine must be tagged when sharing.

Image Use

The images shared in this session are for educational purposes only. Resharing or reposting any images or work shown without permission is not allowed and will result in a usage fee.

Attendees are permitted to use any images created by them in the workshops for their social media and portfolio use, but full credits of any teams involved in the creation of the images must be used when sharing. Sèverine will email these credit lists up to 24 hours after the workshops have taken place.

No Refunds

As all workshops and courses are limited-access event, all sales are final. If you can’t attend live, a replay of online workshops will be sent out to registered participants for a limited time. There are no replays or full recordings of in person workshops.

Recording

The workshop may be recorded for internal or educational purposes. By attending, you consent to being part of a recorded session (especially during open discussions or Q&A). If you prefer not to be seen or heard, you may keep your camera off or notify Sèverine of this beforehand when signing up.

Varying Results

By attending an in person workshop, especially when shooting on film, the attendees understand that film generates varying results. Sèverine will endeavour to teach all attendees how to shoot on film, where relevant, to the best of her abilities, but is not liable if attendees results are fewer or differ to what they were expecting. Refunds are not provided on the basis of blank rolls or unexpected results.

Allergies

Participants are asked to notify Sèverine of any allergies prior to attending in-person workshops. While reasonable care will be taken where possible, Sèverine cannot be held liable for individual health concerns that were not communicated in advance.

Accessibility

Sèverine is committed to making her workshops as accessible as possible. Participants are welcome, but not required, to share any access needs or accessibility concerns that may affect their participation. Workshops take place in a range of studio spaces, and while Sèverine cannot guarantee that every venue will meet all access requirements, she will make reasonable efforts to support access needs that are communicated in advance.

Mailing List

When you sign up, you'll also be added to the Shot by Sèverine mailing list to receive updates about the workshop, future events, and creative resources. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Respectful Space

This is a supportive, creative space. Please be respectful of all participants. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the session without refund.

Legal Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from participation in the workshop will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
